The bedrock of solid society for Persons with Albinism is dependent on the elimination of prevalent myths in society, the decrease of stigma, and the development of psycho-social competencies. These are all enhanced in an appropriate legal framework. Under this strategic pillar, AU will engage in high-leverage Education and awareness activities. Social Justice intervention will be needed to address stubborn individuals and/or persistent cultural attitudes. A robust advocacy programme will track policies that need changing, will also propose changes in laws and practices and also feed into the education and awareness interventions.
