OUR IMPACT
Economic Empowerment stands as a critical pillar in addressing the harsh reality faced by persons with albinism in Uganda. Widespread school dropouts, often caused by overwhelming financial barriers, leave them marginalized both academically and financially. Amidst societal stigma and discrimination, Albinism Umbrella is taking proactive steps.
Through vocational training, business coaching, and the innovative ISAVE program, we’re promoting financial independence and connecting persons with albinism to government livelihood programs. Our goal is to break the cycle of economic difficulty, fostering inclusivity and financial security for the deserving albinism community.
