Albinism Umbrella, in partnership with Beyond Sun care, is pleased to announce a series of free skin clinics for persons with albinism across five districts in the central region of Uganda.
The clinics are designed to promote healthy skin, prevent skin cancer, and improve access to essential dermatological care and assistive devices for persons with albinism.
Clinic Schedule
- 3 August 2026: Wakisi Health Centre III, Buikwe
- 4 August 2026: Busana Health Centre III, Kayunga
- 5 August 2026: Luweero General Hospital, Luweero
- 6 August 2026: Mukono General Hospital, Mukono
- 7 August 2026: Wakiso Health Centre IV, Wakiso
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Services Available
- Free skin cancer screening and treatment
- Albinism awareness training and sensitisation
- Distribution of assistive devices, including sunscreen, sunglasses, and wide-brimmed hats
- Referrals
These clinics are open to all persons with albinism. We encourage individuals, families, caregivers, and community leaders to mobilise and spread the word so that everyone who needs these services can benefit.
